_{^{In 1971 twelve artists formed the Dunwoody Fine Art Association, (DFAA) as a club in order to exhibit their art together, learn from each other, and help each other grow in their creativity and self expression. It was their hope to encourage and promote fine art in Dunwoody.}}

_{^{The club grew steadily, incorporated in 1983 and in 1987 was granted not-for-profit status. Since then the DFAA has continued to grow and thrive and has become an important part of the Atlanta art community. Most of the membership actively participate and exhibit their art regularly.}}

_{^{The association’s objectives are for the artistic advancement of it's members, to stimulate the community in fine art and to engage in charitable and educational activities within the community.}}

MEMBERSHIP DUES NOTICE

As we approach the end of our 2009/2010 year, which culminates with the May Luncheon and the induction of newly elected Officers, it is time to remind our members that dues for the 2010/2011 year are now payable.

The DFAA 2010/2011 year runs from May 1, 2010, to April 30, 2011. Those members who have joined the DFAA during the 2010 calendar year are considered to be paid up for the 2010/2011 year. All other members need to renew their membership at this time.

Dues remain unchanged at $35.00 for Active Members and $50.00 for Associate Members. Please remember that Active Members are required to perform a minimum of ten (10) service hours a year. If you are unable to volunteer your time then the Associate Member level of membership is the appropriate category for you.

In order to remain listed as a member, on this Website and in our annual Member Directory Publication, dues need to be paid by August 1, 2010.
